Yes! We organize numerous social events throughout the year, including a kickoff BBQ, team dinners, a semi-formal and a formal, holiday parties, an end-of-year banquet, and many more smaller social events!
  • How much are dues and when is the deadline to pay?
Dues are TBD for the 2024-2025 school year. They will be about $140 per semester, and the deadline to pay will be sometime in late September. Please fill out the interest form (linked) to get on the email list for Fall 2024.

  • How do I get to practice?
Mack is a 5-10 minute drive from campus so we carpool. Carpools are determined the day of practice through a signup in our GroupMe.

Yes! Coach Robbie comes to practice Monday through Wednesday (and to all of our meets). Sunday practices are coached by the executive board with a set written by Robbie.
  • What gear do I need to bring to practice?
All you need is a swimsuit, cap, and goggles (we recommend getting a block M cap from the M den). There are kick boards and pull buoys provided for us at the pool.
  • How often are swim meets?
We have about three swim meets per semester as well as Nationals at the beginning of April. Excluding Nationals, the meets are one session on a Saturday. You can attend as many as you want, or none at all, it's completely up to you.
  • How far away are swim meets?
Swim meets can be anywhere from 1-2 hours away (MSU or BGSU) to 4-5 hours away (Northwestern or Purdue). For the meets that are farther away we will stay overnight either the night before or the night after, depending on the timing of the meet.
  • Is there a meet fee?
Yes; the fee for day meets is usually $10 and the fee for overnight meets is $20-$25. This covers the host team's entry fee, gas for drivers, rental cars if needed, and hotel rooms for overnight meets.
